Bente Kooreman (The
Netherlands, 1964) studied Fashion and Styling at the Academy of Arts in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
Shortly after moving to Curaçao in 1999 she started making colourful objects from the calabash found
everywhere on the island. By now, the collection includes boxes, lamps, wind
chimes, photo stands, bird feeders, incense stands etc.
Furthermore she also uses paper mache to create colourful objects and fantasy animals
